1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern attendance at Hands On Horology, organised by Oracle Time. By purchasing a ticket or signing up to our mailing list, you agree to comply with these T&Cs.
2. Tickets & Registration
Tickets must be purchased through our official provider Ticket Tailor.
A valid ticket is required for entry. Digital or printed proof of purchase will be requested at the entrance.
Tickets are non-transferable unless authorised in writing by Hands On Horology. Requests for transfer must be submitted at least 7 days before the event.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
In compliance with consumer protection laws, ticket holders are entitled to cancel their purchase within 14 days of the transaction, provided the cancellation occurs no later than 48 hours before the event.
To request a cancellation, contact us at contact@onhorology.com. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
After 14 days (or within 48 hours of the event), tickets are non-refundable.
If the event is cancelled by Hands On Horology, you will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Hands On Horology will not be responsible for any costs incurred in connection with attendance, including but not limited to travel and accommodation.
4. Event Changes & Force Majeure
Hands On Horology reserves the right to change the event programme, schedule, venue, or speakers without prior notice.
Hands On Horology shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.
5. Behaviour & Conduct
- Attendees must respect staff, exhibitors, and other participants.
- Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the event without refund.
- Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
6. Liability
Attendance is at your own risk. Hands On Horology is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to property.
Attendees must comply with all venue health and safety instructions, including emergency procedures.
7. Media & Intellectual Property
Photography and filming may take place at Hands On Horology. By attending, you consent to your image being used in promotional materials.
8. Communications & Marketing
By purchasing a ticket, your details will be added to our communication system (via Ticket Tailor and Mailchimp) for essential event-related correspondence.
Attendees will automatically be sent the following emails:
- Ticketing Info Only: Basic event correspondence such as ticket confirmations and entry details.
- Hands On Horology Updates: Event-related news, announcements, logistics, and future editions.
- 3rd Party / Marketing: Updates from event partners, sponsors, and exhibitors.
You may unsubscribe or manage your preferences at any time through the email links provided.
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
